With the best running back in it's school history, now playing on Sunday's in the NFL, the Florida State running game looked non-existed against the Alabama Crimson Tide. The big plays of Dalvin Cook, seemed like a distant memory on Saturday Night. The Seminoles saw it's running game shutdown for the entire evening, by the best defensive unit in the nation. The only time Seminoles ground game seemed to have any life in it, was when 5 star freshman Cam Akers touched the ball. Jacques Patrick the big back who started the game for FSU was a non-factor, all game long. The ability of Akers from both a receiving and rushing standpoint is vital, now that quarterback Deondre Francois, is out with an injury. In Akers you have a combination of both speed and power, that the Noles will have to rely on if they still want to compete for an ACC championship.
