A former Purdue University student, Scott Massey, has received his second Mandela Washington Fellowship to lead educational agricultural workshops at universities in the Republic of Cameroon in Africa. Currently, about 200 million hectares of suitable land remains unfarmed across Africa. The Mandela Washington Fellowship aims to promote agricultural development through the academic and entrepreneurial empowerment of Africans.
